I am delighted to be asked to provide a reference for your work with Pendyffryn Medical Group in my role as partner here since 1992. To my knowledge you have provided this surgery with ultrasound services for around 10 years on a regular fortnightly or at times weekly basis.

Within the confines of the services we were originally able to commission as a fund holding practice until 1998 and since then have received under the auspices of North Wales Health Authority and Denbighshire Local Health Board, you have provided us with a prompt and ever efficient service.  You have demonstrated the attentive flexibility that has allowed us to refer to you at short notice those extra patients whose clinical symptoms or signs have given the partners cause for concern.

The service we have received has been first class and to my knowledge has never been criticised by even one partner.  You have made partners aware of the confines of the services you provide and within that have provided an exemplary service.  We have no reservations whatsoever with the quality either of the staff providing the service within the practice, the quality and capability of the contemporary equipment used, nor the radiological opinions given in interpreting the examination findings.  We have received these findings consistently and reliably at the agreed interval after the ultrasound has taken place, even taking into account of the large number of patients you have managed to assess.

The consistency of the service we have received and the extent to which it has indirectly benefited the local Trust is, I am sure, one of the reasons that the Health Authority and Local Health Board have continued to support this practice based service for the past eight years.
I have no hesitation in providing you with this reference and no qualms in being willing to recommend your services to others.

I have used Ultrasound Now for about seven years.  They have a regular session at our practice in Heaton Moor and have always been helpful and courteous whilst using our building.  Emergency cases are seen very quickly.  Access to the service over the years has been very good with minimal waiting times and reports have always been correct and abnormalities have been faxed to us immediately. I have no doubt that they provide a good service.

As a commissioner of your services over the last 5 years, I can fully recommend the service that you provide. Requests for reports are undertaken promptly, within weeks for all patients compared to several weeks or even months if referred to our local Foundation Trust, and furthermore if an urgent problem does arise the patient is asked to make an appointment with the doctor with a copy of the report, so prompt action can be undertaken.

I conclude that the speed of service, quality of service and service provision by Ultrasound Now Limited is of a very high standard.
