Hello and welcome to our website.  Inside you will find lots of interesting information about the private ultrasound services that we provide at our ultrasound clinics which are situated in Stockport, Cheshire and St. Asaph, Denbighshire.

Where are we?

Our Stockport clinic is situated on the A6 which runs through Stockport and is within easy reach of Manchester, Cheshire, Derbyshire and Lancashire. Our St. Asaph clinic is in beautiful North Wales, just 200 yards from the A55 trunk road, about 45 minutes from Chester and about an hour from the Isle of Anglesey.

What do we do?

We specialise in diagnostic ultrasound.  Since 1996 we have been providing ultrasound services to the National Health Service and more recently to private patients at our two permanent clinics.

We currently scan approximately 5,000 to 6,000 patients per year and provide a wide variety of ultrasound examinations including 3D and 4D pregnancy scans as well as full abdominal, renal and pelvic ultrasound examinations.

How we can help You.

Patients who attend our clinics have either have been told by their doctor that they need an ultrasound scan, but want to arrange this privately rather than wait for a hospital appointment, or may or may not have been seen by a doctor, but because of health concerns or worries feel that an ultrasound examination may be beneficial.

The most common reasons that patients refer themselves is for pregnancy examinations, aortic aneurysm screening, testicular screening or ovarian (female pelvis) screening. All examinations are available on a self referral basis if appropriate.

We are a team of skilled Ultrasonographers and Doctors who believe passionately about the value of the services we provide. Diagnostic ultrasound saves lives and should be readily available to all – that is why we began the mobile services for NHS patients. We also believe that if you want to pay for a private ultrasound scan then this too should be affordable and not just the privilege of the wealthy.  You will find that our prices are considerably less than private hospitals but this does NOT compromise the service provided.

• We consider all our scans to be diagnostic and never scan just for entertainment. This is particularly important in the case of 3D/4D obstetric scans where we will always perform a diagnostic 2D scan as well.
• We have a team of Consultant Radiologists (Doctors) who are available to give a second opinion on scans and confirm the findings of our sonographers. All our Radiologists are senior consultants with many years experience.
